What do most teenagers lack 👿?

TipsUploaded 2 months ago

Welcome 👋 brothers and sisters to this blog post. I am also a teenager and very well know what the confusion is through which teenagers go. In this post, I have covered some of the most important topics which most teenagers need to know.

🤓Purpose (Inspiration)

One of the biggest mistakes I have done and most teenagers do is that they just start without thinking what is their inspiration for the work. For eg: I just started a new youtube channel but I didn’t figure out what is the thing that motivates me the most and keeps me going.

Here’s an example of Inspiration: I like to write these blog posts because 1. I want to keep a track of my learnings which I can share with my future wife and children 2. I like to serve people 3. I can make money by affiliate links.

The purpose is important because when you are doing something, you feel like quitting it but your Purpose will keep you going. But what if your purpose dies? Then the answer is simple, stop doing that work.

Purpose doesn’t mean that you can only have a big goal. If you like doing something which in my case is Coding and Blogging, then the process of that thing is your purpose. In simple words, the purpose is what keeps you going on and inspires you.

🏆How can I achieve something

Here’s a short trick that you can use to find how you can achieve something:

Ask these three questions:

  1. Who am I?
  2. What I want to become?
  3. How can I reach there?

Remember to find the answers to these questions in a notebook rather than finding their solutions in your brain.

😷Decisive

Most teenagers have one thing in common, i.e, they don’t like to take decisions themselves because they think what if the decisions go wrong.

Here’s another short track. Just ask yourself:

  1. What is the worst case which would happen if this decision goes wrong?
  2. What is the best case if the decision goes well?

Now you will find your solution.

👀Expectations

Have you seen the biography of Mark Zuckerburg and thought of becoming a billionaire at the age of 23 by making a website.

I also went through that experience but the reality, everyone takes different time to reach their destination.

When you start a business, you have to spend your 5–6 years in it to succeed. But most teenagers just stop doing it when they get a single failure and the reason for that is that they didn’t find their purpose.

One thing I want to add here. If you can they choose a career in which you can do work if you didn’t even get a salary for that work.

🙃Comparison

This thing is ridiculous as it kills your inner peace and makes you feel that you are looser or it would increase your ego.

But what I have found in my experience is that you don’t get to know that you are comparing yourself with somebody. For eg: I compared my life with a girl in my neighborhood whose life is so good and she is so happy with her so many friends and I just code at my computer for the product I want to make.

But later, I figured out that my life was much better than theirs. I got a gaming computer, a 2k monitor which I desired the most a year ago. So, in the end, I would say that your life is much better than your other life.

🎉🎊🎊🎉Congratulations, you have achieved the knowledge that most teenagers lack.
